Nanshan University for the Aged
Established on June 21, 2010, Nanshan University for the Aged is invested and founded by Nanshan Holdings, one of China's top 500 enterprises. This University has a floor area of 15,000m2 and a greening rate of 30.2%; it has the Sunshine Art Plaza, outdoor dancing floor and fitness path that cover an area of 25,000m2. The curricula of Nanshan University for the Aged are designed by adequately considering the interest of the elderly, including the courses focusing the traditional cultural elements such as Beijing opera, Lü opera, calligraphy, painting, Tai Ji and tea art, and also the courses focusing the modern elements such as dancing, English, photography, yoga, model, vocal music and belly dance. It has expanded to the new learning methods such as collecting folk songs, painting from life, study tour and social practice.
